I have enjoyed photography since I was a schoolgirl starting with the ubiquitous Box Brownie. I joined Dundee PS in 1960, then Shillington & DCC after a move to Hertfordshire when I married Gerry in 1966. In 2005 we moved to Wellington in Shropshire where we joined Wrekin Arts PC and Smethwick PS. I gained my RPS Fellowship in 1994 and was elected to the London Salon in 1996 having supported their exhibition for many years. It was a great honour which I still treasure for the friendship of my fellow members. My work has progressed through the darkroom to the digital era and my style is very delicate pastel images printed on PermaJet Fine Art Papers. I have been supported by PermaJet since 2000 and have lectured throughout Great Britain and Ireland over many years achieving recognition for this by the award of the J S Lancaster medal for exceptional service to photography - the HonPAGB. I gained my MPAGB in 2007. I now rarely enter the International Salons preferring to show my images by my lecturing and digital workshops. I also produce CDs of my lectures for the clubs I can no longer visit.
