Any prints, regardless of entry method, not received by the above date cannot be entered into the Exhibition and any entry fees paid, less any return postage, will be refunded.

Up to ten London Salon medals will be awarded and every accepted picture will receive a Salon vignette. All entrants will receive a colour catalogue and all accepted images are displayed on our Website. The accepted work will be framed and form 'The Exhibition' which will be displayed at several venues around the UK according to the exhibition programme. At smaller venues outside of London & Smethwick it may not be possible to exhibit all acceptances and a random selection will be made.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. We invite photographers Worldwide to enter up to four prints made by any photographic process.
2. This exhibition is a PRINTS ONLY exhibition for which you can enter a total of four prints, either colour or monochrome or a mixture of the two. However we do also prefer a digital file to accompany your entry. The supply by you of a digital copy of your print ensures accuracy of reproduction on our website, in the catalogue and our CD slideshow; it also assists us greatly in speeding up the process of notification of results and publication of the exhibition. Entering online assists us to serve you better and is our preferred method of entry. For those entrants who are unable to enter online this Manual Form should be used and your entry accompanied by a CD containing your digital files. If you do not have digital files available whether entering online or manually then you should mark the entry form appropriately.
3. Your digital image files MUST be submitted as follows: Jpeg, Tiff or PNG file format (8-bit) 300 ppi. No greater than 768 pixels height for upright images or 1024 pixels width for landscape images. No fancy borders or added background whatsoever, a thin outline border around the image is acceptable. Named with the title of the printed image ALL IN CAPITALS. For all entries the title must be exactly the same as you intend to enter on your entry form. e.g. 1. THE LEANING TOWER. For online entries the form will be completed automatically using the name of the digital file that you submit which must be the same as the Number and Title on the rear of the printed image. We will not edit your digital image file names and so whatever is the name of your file will be the published text in the catalogue and anywhere else that the image is displayed or referred to. Please check the name of your saved file to make sure that it does not include any information other than the title.
Please note that your digital files will not be judged, they are for publication use only.
4. Prints from UK may be mounted or un-mounted.
(a) Overseas entries should be un-mounted.
(b) Any mount must be exactly 40 x 50cm (NOT 20 x 16 inches) to fit our glazed frames.
(c) Mounted prints thicker than 3mm may not be exhibited or may be shown without glass.
(d) Un-mounted prints must be printed centrally on A3 (29.7 X 42 cm) paper or be attached centrally to a piece of A3 paper.
5. Each entrant should complete an entry form either using the online system or the manual entry form and a copy of the online or manual entry form MUST be included with your prints.
(a) Prints must carry on the back:
(b) The entrant’s name and address.
(c) The number and title of the print, as it appears on the entry form.
(d) Additionally for group entries (i.e. more than one entry in a packet), the group organiser’s name and address.
6. UK Entry fee: £10 per person plus Return Postage of £7.50 up to a max weight of 4kg.
(a) UK Group entries – £10 per person plus £7.50 return postage up to a max weight of 4kg.
(b) If the package weighs in excess of this two entrants should pay £7.50 fee each giving a total of £15 for the package.
7. Overseas Entry fee: £10 Sterling or €13 or US$16 plus return postage of £15 Sterling €19 or US$24 up to a max weight of 2kg.
Please do not send prints without entry fees since they will not be
judged or returned and no catalogues will be sent.
8. Fees for online entries are collected via PayPal either using your PayPal account, if you have one, or by credit card.
(a) For manual entries please enclose fees with your prints. In all cases your entry form must accompany your prints.
(b) Please make UK cheques payable to The London Salon of Photography. Regrettably, overseas cheques and money orders cannot be accepted, please send cash or enter online.
9. Pack prints flat (NOT in rolls). We will return them in the original packing, which should be suitable for re-posting.
(a) Overseas packets must not exceed 2 kg and must carry the printed address label and be marked Photographs for Exhibition and Return to Sender - No Commercial Value.
(b) Packets from countries not in the EU must carry green customs forms CN22.
10. We will send to each paid-up entrant a colour catalogue and a Salon vignette for each accepted print.
11. Copyright of images remains with the author but we reserve the right to reproduce without payment any print in connection with the exhibition.
12. Every care will be taken of work submitted but we cannot accept responsibility for any damage or loss however caused. Entrants are deemed to accept all the conditions of entry.
13. Members of the London Salon are not eligible for medals.
14. All prints should be posted to the address below with your pre-printed ‘Online Entry’ or your ‘Manual Entry’ form. Manual Entrants must also include their entry fees.

16. All entrants will receive a free catalogue and any relevant Salon vignettes for acceptances by post.
(a) Online entrants will receive their results faster by email.
(b) Full results will also be available on our website shortly after the judging is over.
17. Additional catalogues at £7 each (overseas €10 or US$15) including postage, can be requested on your entry form or are available on request.
